Can You Avoid Stretch Marks While Pregnant

1) Drink plenty of water

It's very important to stay well hydrated while you're pregnant for many reasons. One of them is because if you're well hydrated, so is your skin, and well hydrated skin stretches better than dry skin. So be sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water throughout the day, and especially first thing in the morning, when your body is the most dehydrated.

2) Eat a diet rich in foods that your skin will love

Nutrition is not only important for your baby during pregnancy, but also for you. Foods that are good for your skin include foods high in zinc (like nuts and fish), foods high in vitamins A and C (like carrots and citrus fruits), and foods rich in protein (like eggs). These food choices will help you maintain healthy skin that won't be as susceptible to pregnancy scars.

The third part of healthy and happy skin is properly moisturizing 2-3 times a day in areas that will be stretching.
